A total of 18 teams took part in this year’s Interior Savings/M&M Meat Shops Ladies Invitational Curling Bonspiel the weekend before last at the Merritt Curling Club. Two of five teams from out of town went away winners.

The Jan. 15/16 weekend saw five Novice teams from Clearwater, 100 Mile House and Kamloops come together to play four games each at the Sportsplex. The Clearwater teams didn’t make it easy for the two Kamloops teams, which in the end took first and second place. The games were close, with lots of end-to-end hockey.
