The Williams Lake Red Demons fought off a two-goal deficit for a come-from-behind overtime win over Clearwater to take first place Jan. 16 at the Williams Lake Bantam House Tournament.

The Jan. 15/16 weekend saw five Novice teams from Clearwater, 100 Mile House and Kamloops come together to play four games each at the Sportsplex. The Clearwater teams didn’t make it easy for the two Kamloops teams, which in the end took first and second place. The games were close, with lots of end-to-end hockey.
