The District of Clearwater Community Paramedic is a vital support position offered through BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) in the Clearwater area. The Community Paramedic provides a wide array of services, such as home care, palliative care, education, public speaking, preventative care and support in conjunction with the Home Healthcare teams.

Following recent park improvements in Latremouille Park in Little Fort, a ribbon cutting ceremony to dedicate the family-oriented space was held on June 24 during a community gathering that included a dedication by Thompson Nicola Regional District (TNRD) director for Area “O” (Lower North Thompson), Jill Hayward.
