Vancouver Island’s favourite rock and roll band will be bringing a dance party to the Capitol Theatre in Port Alberni.
Time Well Wasted will be performing at the Capitol Theatre on Saturday, June 7 in a fundraiser for the Portal Players Dramatic Society.
This Courtenay-based group is a 10-piece show band with a horn section and a love for rock, disco, pop, funk and soul.
Incorporating lighting and visual effects to accompany their on-stage antics, Time Well Wasted provides a wide range of music from the '70s and '80s, including Earth Wind and Fire, Chicago, Stevie Wonder, Tower of Power, Donna Summer and the Pointer Sisters.
Join the Portal Players Dramatic Society for a night of music and dancing to raise funds for their upcoming season. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and dancing starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased online at www.atthecapitol.org.
