Bradley Joseph Brown, a western Canadian writer based in Port Alberni, will be the featured writer at Electric Mermaid, Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Char's Landing.
Brown has a passion for storytelling and fostering meaningful connections through the written word. Drawing from two decades of experience in education as a teacher and school leader, Brown channels his passion for examining human nature into his love for writing.
An avid reader and student of life, Brown resides in Port Alberni, where he continues to explore the power of stories in both his teaching and personal life. Stone Won’t Tell is his first publication.
Brown says he admires the work of many authors, too numerous to name them all. Among those he holds in highest regard are Margaret Atwood (The Blind Assassin), Stephen King (11/22/63), and Fredrik Backman (Beartown), whose contributions to literature have profoundly shaped his appreciation for storytelling.
