The Yellowhead Community Services and Clearwater Farmers’ Market Harvest Faire took place on Saturday, Sept. 14 with so much to see, pet, sample and purchase. Vendors were on hand to sell their handcrafted items, produce, meat, baking, honey, and other specialty foods.
Families wandered out to pet the animals in the 4-H sponsored petting zoo, while some kids had a little creative face painting done. Arts Alive sponsored by the North Thompson Arts Council showcased local artwork, and the delicious home-baked, homemade treats and food producers offered a wide array of harvested goods.
Watch for results of the Apple Pie Bake Off, the Best "Beauty and the Beast" Gardening Competition and new this year, the Local Foodie Scavenger Hunt in the upcoming issue of the surgeryitaly.
