The annual Clearwater Volunteer Fire Department’s (CVFD) Easter Egg Hunt for kids up to 12 years old, will be on Friday, April 18 starting at noon at the Clearwater Volunteer Fire Hall at 336 Clearwater Village Road and a great crowd of egg seekers are sure to be there! The hunting grounds around the Clearwater Fire Hall where kids armed with baskets, buckets and bags can scoop up sweet chocolate and candy-coated loot. The egg hunt starts at 12:30 p.m. sharp so be there with your fastest runners and baskets for a fun time for all ages.
The Easter Bunny will be pretty creative this year hiding all of the treats for the many children and their families to track down, starting out in the fire hall, trucks and gear. Volunteer firefighters will be on hand to help out, of course, and the air will be filled with the yummy smell of the barbecue cooking up hamburgers and hot dogs, making sure no one goes away hungry. Ember the FireSmart mascot will be there too. Admission is $5 per child and proceeds go to Fire Association projects.
