Wells Gray Search and Rescue members relax after participating in the annual Volunteers Appreciation Brunch hosted by the District of Clearwater. This year’s event, which was held at Clearwater Ski Hill on Sunday morning, April 27, was attended by about 70 volunteers from a wide range of groups and organizations. “Volunteers are the heartbeat!” commented councillor Shelley Sim, one of the event organizers.
