The Thompson-Nicola Regional District is hereby accepting proposals to undertake the following work for the period of June 15, 2024 – Nov 15, 2028.
• Provide trails and trail infrastructure maintenance, as well as safety inspections, on three trails systems in the Blue River area.
A Request for Proposal package which outlines the requirements may be obtained from Sherri Madden, TNRD Community Services Coordinator, by calling 250-674-8623 or emailing smadden@tnrd.ca.
It is a requirement of the contract that the successful proponent have:
• current WorkSafeBC coverage;
• $5 Million Commercial General Liability coverage; and,
• That all automobiles used have standard business automobile liability insurance for not less than $2 Million Dollars.
Site review is not mandatory but is recommended prior to proposal submittal and must be acknowledged on proposal documents. Maps of the trails are included in the Request for Proposal package. The TNRD will not be holding an onsite viewing, but will leave it to the person submitting the proposal to utilize the maps to conduct a site review and indicate within their proposal as to whether they have completed this review prior to submitting the bid.
