The Nashville Predators and Colorado Avalanche lead the way with three BCHLers on their rosters

The Clearwater and Barriere Secondary School boys soccer teams met at the CSS field in Clearwater for a match up Tuesday, Sept. 28.

The Clearwater Secondary School boys soccer team was on the field Monday after classes to practice for an upcoming tournament this week.

Barriere resident Dave Surrao and his pickleball partner Nicole Robert-Mortimer from Bridge Lake square off against Clearwater resident Alan Nicholas and Mary MacLennan from Barriere during a pickleball tournament held Sunday, Sept. 12 in Barriere. Partners for the games were chosen by random draw and seven games were played over four courts, plus two play-off games. Kids in the 2021 Hockey School at the North Thompson Sportsplex were playing a game of soccer on ice as part of their skating training Monday morning. The six-day school includes on- and off-ice activities for numerous groups for both children learning to play and those developing their skills.
