Updated story: A missing 88-year-old man has been located safe and sound and has been reunited with his family, according to Surrey Police.
He was last seen on Friday, May 23, at approximately 1:30 p.m. in the 7600-block of 142 Street, in East Newton.
"Police and family are concerned for his well-being as it is out of character for him to be out of contact with family for this length of time," SPS said in a news release earlier Friday afternoon.
His name and photo have been removed from this story for privacy reasons.
