To the editor,
Black and white and all shades in between are the result when light passes through a prism.
All other factors in the entire human race can be traced to a common beginning. The divergents of language, culture, religion, sexual orientation and politics are the results of climate, geographical location and differing ways of dealing with the reality we live in.
So much wasted energy on conflicts large and small, we need to acknowledge that we can think differently and hold different beliefs, yet still be on friendly terms with each other, help and support each other, recognize our differences by concentrating on our commonality, disagree with respect, discuss without anger, recognizing always our similar journey through life.
Let’s say, celebrate the spirit of John Lennon in all of us, do not harm and be respectful to others no matter what our differences are.
