Cowichan Aging Well Expo set for May 28

The Aging Well Expo is coming to the Cowichan Community Centre on Wednesday, May 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Aging Well Expo is coming to the Cowichan Community Centre on Wednesday, May 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event is open to the public and admission is free. The Expo features more than 40 vendors offering valuable information on health, financial, legal, and physical-care services and products available in the Cowichan Valley.

Attendees can also enjoy a variety of presentations, interactive sessions, refreshments, and door prizes.

This year's presentations include: Getting Your Affairs in Order, Mature Driving in BC, Affordable and Healthy Meals for One, and Navigating Online Resources for Seniors.

Interactive sessions include: Chair Yoga, Joy Through Art, Cognitive Conundrum Puzzles, Digital Literacy, Home Safety, and more.

The Aging Well Expo is ideal for adults, caregivers, and anyone else interested in learning more about the healthy aging resources available in the community.

"Last year, more than 400 people attended, and we expect an even bigger turnout this year," organizers said. "We're grateful to the Cowichan Valley community for their ongoing support of the Aging Well Expo."
