In the Jan 10, 2011 issue of the Times one of the letters was about the plight of the wildlife in the brushed area around the town.

There is a joke (?) about a very devout man, sitting on the roof of his floating house. A boat comes to rescue him, but he sends it away saying “God will save me.” Three times this happens and he sends them away saying “God will save me,” but he drowns.

I would like to invite all members of the public to join the Community Forest Advisory Committee on Wednesday, Jan 26 at 7 p.m. in the Community Resource Centre.

There was a letter in last week’s issue titled “Party discipline is not a law.” The letter was a response to an opinion piece by Black Press columnist Tom Fletcher titled “The year of the independent MLA” that appeared on www.clearwatertimes on Dec. 29 but not in our print edition.
