The snow conditions were incredible, the volunteer staff and volunteer instructors were all awesome.
That was the report after Clearwater Ski Club hosted a group of intermediate students from Raft River Elementary School on Friday, Feb. 11.
“Good to get school groups back there. First time in years we have been over there!” said one teacher.
Classes taking part were Mrs. Gormley’s Grade 4, Mrs. Carter’s Kindergarten and Mrs. Steffenson’s Grade 5/6.
Dave Simm organized the ski hill along with the club’s board of directors to start accepting school groups.
Organizers are working to get all the classes to the ski hill at least once this year.
Last Friday the hill hosted 100 Clearwater Secondary School students and two more classes from Raft River.
