“The team has been improving every game, and we have flashes of brilliance every once in a while.”
That’s the assessment of coach Alanna MacDonald of Clearwater Secondary School’s boys soccer team.

“Our two forwards, Luke Lavigne and Piet Oud, are a force to be reckoned with while our senior players Keenan (Bromley), Cedrik (Menard), and Mason (Wadlegger) have provided us with leadership and stability through the middle,” she added.
Nathan Jensen, CSS’s newbie goalkeeper, has picked up the trade very well so far, putting on amazing performances in all games, she reported.
As reported earlier in the Times, the soccer Raiders defeated Barriere at home on Sept. 26 by a score of 2-0.
Tuesday, Oct. 3, they lost at home to St. Ann’s 2-1. The team followed that up with a 3-2 loss to Ashcroft in a game that was played in Kamloops on Thursday afternoon.
This week they have two games, including a possible redemption match against St. Ann’s.
