BMO Kids Play BC will be held at Parksville Community Park on July 26.

Oceanside Football Club is hosting the BMO Kids Play BC, a co-ed soccer program and festival for children.

The event will take place at the Parksville Community Park, July 26.

Last year, the OFC staged this event but only for girls, to encourage more girls to get into the sport. This year, BC Soccer has made it available to all players and youth coaches.

It is geared to engage both boys and girls in a fun, social, and active environment, focusing on the enjoyment of playing soccer. The program includes a BC Soccer-led youth coach training session for young people aged 14 to 24. This will be followed by a fun soccer afternoon for U6-U10 players.

The event is free and includes a pizza lunch.  Register at https://form.jotform.com/251884612142253.

If you are interested in becoming a BC Soccer/Soccer Canada certified youth coach for U6-U9 players and are at least 14 years old by the date of the event, you can register to participate also: https://form.jotform.com/251884612142253

To qualify for the youth coach on-field training, you will need to complete an online portion of the training before July 26, so register early.
