More fishing areas are opening up soon. The north end of Adams Lake will open July 1. It can be accessed by Road 2 through Vavenby.
The west end of Mahood Lake and the outlet of Mahood River on Mahood Lake also will open July 1.
The entire Mahood River opens July 1. Access is by driving to the end of the Clearwater River Road.
The Clearwater River below the old Clearwater Bridge will open July 1, with the rest of the river to open July 15.
All streams open July 1 in Region 3 (See tables in Region 3 for exceptions).
This is a reminder that a single barbless hook must be used in any stream in Region 3 all year.
