B.C. teens serve up big wins at indoor volleyball provincials

Winning teams heading to nationals in May

After some action-packed wins at the indoor volleyball provincials in Abbotsford, several B.C. squads are now headed for the nationals to see if they can bring home yet another title.

Hosted at Tradex from April 25 to 28, the 12U, 13U, and 15U provincials had boys and girls club teams from all across the province.

Teams battled it out across the three age groups, with the following squads earning top three spots in their respective divisions:

12U Girls Division 1 – PCVC Black (gold), PCVC Red (silver), Air Attack Gold (bronze)

12U Girls Division 2 – Air Attack Black (gold), Powerwest (silver), Hustle Volleyball Club (bronze)

13U Boys Division 1 – Focus Ravens (gold), Barn Owls (silver), FVVC (bronze)

13U Boys Division 2 – PGYVC Kodiaks (gold), Focus FX (silver), KVC (bronze)

13U Girls Division 1 – Ducks 13U (gold), KVC Black (silver), Air Attack Gold (bronze)

13U Girls Division 2 – Apex Ezpz (gold), PCVC Black (silver), Raincity Royals (bronze)

13U Girls Division 3 – Powerwest (gold), Action Volleyball Club (silver), Raincity Roar (bronze)

13U Girls Division 4 – Jr Cascades Black (gold), Valley Elite (silver), Action Volleyball Club (bronze)

14U Boys Division 1 – Focus Xplosion (gold), Jr Cascades (silver), Apex Acel (bronze)

14U Boys Division 2 – FVVC (gold), Focus Lightning (silver), Focus Xtreme (bronze)

14U Girls Division 1 – Ducks 14U (gold), BCO (silver), SKY Blue (bronze)

14U Girls Division 2 – Raincity Rush (gold), Sting (silver), Thunder Blue (bronze)

14U Girls Division 3 – Momentum (gold), PCVC Red (silver), Action VC (bronze)

14U Girls Division 4 – Apex Bonsai (gold), Powerwest (silver), Westshore (bronze)

14U Girls Division 5 – Mariners Nesoi (gold), Mariners Nemesis (silver), Hustle Volleyball Club (bronze)

14U Girls Division 6 – Shuswap VC (gold), Lightning Spikes (silver), Mariners Athena (bronze)

14U Girls Division 7 – ACE (gold), Genesis (silver), North Shore Stars (bronze)

"Volleyball BC is thrilled to recognize the outstanding achievements of our 2025 Provincial Champions, who displayed incredible levels of talent and sportsmanship all weekend long," wrote Volleyball BC.

The winning B.C. teams will now be going up against the best teams from all across the country, which the Volleyball Canada national indoor youth championships taking place in various cities throughout May.

Abbotsford also has more volleyball action coming its way, with the 15U and 16U provincials set to take place at Tradex from May 2 to 5.
