The driver of a semi-truck was caught on dash camera crossing a double solid centre line, passing another semi and barely missing another vehicle on Highway 5 on June 13.
The incident happened just north of Barriere during a section of passing lanes for each direction. In the video, the northbound passing lane comes to an end but a white semi-truck quickly overtakes another black semi in the passing lane of the southbound side.
The driver of the white semi-truck begins to move back into the northbound lane, cutting off the black semi and causing the driver to move to the shoulder. On the left side of the screen, two vehicles are travelling in the southbound passing lanes, another semi-truck and a white pick-up truck attempting to pass.
The video was shared to the Skilled Truckers Canada Facebook page Monday morning and within a few hours had over 45 comments and 27 shares.
