Following the KIJHL divisional awards, in which Kael Svenson was named Top Goaltender, the Sicamous Eagles recognized their other high flyers.
At their recent year-end banquet, the team celebrated their season, blew off some steam prior to the playoffs and handed out some hardware. Those honours included:
• Top Forward – Ashton Angle
• Top Defence Man – Josh Missfeldt
• MVP – Kael Svenson
• Most Dedicated – Clayton Gillmore
• Most Improved – Matthew Marino
• The "Sandpaper" Award (the guy the other team doesn't like to play against) – Austin Horbachewsky
The team also thanked the staff of head coach Shawn Webb who stepped into the role mid-season, and assistant coach Ben Marshall, as well as team trainers Steve Norton and Jeff Vandooyeweert.
