Raft River Elementary students excelled during the Zone 1 track meet at the Tournament Capital Centre on May 24 in Kamloops.
School District 73 is split into four zones and Raft River Elementary is part of Zone 4.
Students from Grades 4 to 7 took part in the meet from Blue River, Vavenby, Raft, Barriere, Sun Peaks, Logan Lake, David Thompson, Rayleigh, Westsyde and Westmount with all competitors showing great sportsmanship. Michelle Masse, a parent from Clearwater there to support daughter Allison said, Raft River students did an excellent job representing Clearwater.
Some of the students now move on next week to the District meet.
