Clearwater speedway was rained out on both days for the first weekend scheduled for racing in Clearwater on May 25 and 26. A disappointing start for the season but much needed moisture in the North Thompson Valley. Fans were given passes to the next race weekend. Cars attempted to pack down the wet track, however after two hours of packing it was deemed the track would be unsafe for racing.
