The Thompson Nicola Regional District (TNRD) will be hosting a public meeting in Blue River on Thursday May 22 which will be held at the Blue River Community Hall from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
“The purpose of the meeting will be to share information, answer questions, and receive input from residents of Electoral Area “B” as well as discussing such topics as the FireSmart Rebate Program, Home Assessments, and the upcoming wood chipper day for Blue River,” said TNRD director for Area “B”, Lee Onslow.
There will also be an update on Area “B” community services planned and proposed projects, tourism marketing, an update on the TNRD Parks and Trails Strategy and updated information on the previous camp location for the TMEX Murtle Road site. Further topics to include TNRD Tax Rates by Service: Area “B” 2025 actual, mosquito control, and a question-and-answer period with TNRD director Onslow and TNRD staff.
