Surrey Farms hosts annual blueberry festival Saturday

The festival was at 5180 152 St. from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Surrey Farms hosted its annual family-friendly blueberry festival this Saturday (July 12) at its 152 Street location.

Organizers said around 800 people showed up. The event was at Surrey Farm's location, 5180 152 St., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It included free activities for kids (bouncy castles, face painting, balloon animals and henna art), blueberry picking, live music, food trucks, and a farmers' market. There was no entry fee.

The food trucks and stands that will be there are: The Stackers, Roasted Revolution, Bean & Berry, Primos Street Eats and Bad Mash Café. 

The farmers' market will feature a wide variety of vendors selling baked goods, preserves, jewelry, handmade crafts, and health and wellness items.
