If travel is on your mind, but not quite on the schedule, Sidney Concert Band has just the ticket: a musical tour around the world.

Celebrating its 38th year, the Sidney Concert Band will present its annual spring concert, Around the World in 80 Minutes, on Sunday, May 25, 2 p.m. at the Mary Winspear Centre.

Under the direction of Bruce Ham, the concert promises a vibrant tapestry of sounds representing cultures from Armenia to Cuba, Egypt to Italy, Japan to Hawaii and beyond.

Adding to the excitement, the concert will feature special guest appearances, including the harmonious voices of the Peninsula Singers Ensemble, the engaging tunes of guitar and vocal duo The Bully Boys and the lively Hawaiian-style dance moves of the Allegro Dancers.

Before the main event, the Sidney Brass will greet and entertain audience members as they enter the Charlie White Theatre.
