The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) will be hosting an informative and tasty event next weekend.
On Saturday, March 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the RDOS FireSmart team will be hosting a family-friendly morning of FireSmart information and a pancake breakfast at the Naramata Fire Department located at 1095 Lower Debeck Road.
An information and interactive booth with Naramata Fire Department members will be available to answer questions, and FireSmart educational and marketing materials will be available as well, in addition to pancakes.
"The FireSmart Information and pancake breakfast event is an opportunity to learn more about reducing the risk of fire on your property by cleaning up trees, shrubs, and branches," RDOS chair Mark Pendergraft stated.
