A driver and passenger managed to walk away from a crash that saw their truck, hauling a trailer, flip on Highway 97 last week.
RCMP were called to the crash Tuesday, June 11 at 8 a.m. near Kekuli Bay south of Vernon.
"A pick-up truck pulling a travel trailer was northbound on Highway 97 when the trailer began to sway and pulled the unit off the road and into the ditch," said Const. Tania Finn, Vernon North Okanagan RCMP media relations officer. "The unit rolled once with the truck landing on its' wheels. Fortunately, the driver and two passengers escaped without injury."
The truck and trailer required a tow truck and have since been removed from the scene.
