A multi-vehicle incident between Sicamous and Revelstoke has traffic on Highway 1 at a standstill after a multi-vehicle collision between Griffin and Three Valley Lakes.
Just after 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18 DriveBC reported a multi-vehicle incident between Griffin Lake Avalanche Gate and Three Valley Siding Road 22-23 kilometres west of Revelstoke with Highway 1 closed in both directions.
In a Facebook post, Revelstoke Fire Rescue Services reported Rescue 7 responding for a highway rescue call with "multiple commercial vehicles involved" and updated with a known entrapment.
DriveBC reports Highway 1 is closed in both directions, with drivers advised to watch for traffic control.
