· Summer swim lessons and Junior Lifeguard Club registration is now open! We’re offering two sets of swim lessons at the Grand Forks Aquatic Centre and one set at Christina Lake Provincial Park. · FriYAY PLAY Camp is scheduled from 8:30am to 3:30pm on Fridays in the Viewing Room at the Jack Goddard Memorial Arena. Children in kindergarten to Grade 4 will build physical literacy through movement and play, engage in cultural activities with local community groups, create crafts and enjoy free-play indoors and outdoors! FriYAY Play Camp Drop-ins are now available! If there is space in camp, parents are welcome to call ahead or arrive by 8:15 a.m. on Fridays to sign up and pay at the Aquatic Centre or Recreation Office! Call 250-442-2202 for more information!

· Get ready for an incredible weekend at the Christina Lake Homecoming Summerfest! Start the festivities on Friday evening, July 11, with scrumptious Smash Burgers, salads and milkshakes made by Pony Espresso and live music at the Mick Hanlon Memorial Field (formerly the Christina Lake Ball Diamond)! Light up the lake at the dazzling Boat Parade at the Christina Lake Provincial Park starting at 8:30 p.m! The fun continues on Saturday, July 12, with a Pancake Breakfast hosted by the Christina Lake Community Hall Association, opening ceremonies, a lively vendor market, thrilling beach and lake activities including a beach barbeque in support of the Christina Lake FireFighter’s Society, a chili dinner made especially for you by the Christina Lake Rotary Club and an evening concert to dance the night away! · There are only a few more weeks to attend Stretching for Mobility before the summer holidays arrive! Stretching for Mobility is scheduled on Tuesdays from 2 - 3 p.m., and on Fridays from 1 - 2 p.m. at the Grand Forks Seniors Centre! Join Gisela Ko for this unique, low impact fitness class until June 27!
· Join the Christina Lake Short Circuit RX fitness class at the Community Hall on Mondays and Fridays from 9-10 a.m. until the end of June. This class will focus on Pilates, weights, low impact and full body movements to help you achieve the best version of yourself! Drop-in rates apply, and session passes are available for purchase.
· Christina Lake’s Chairfit Fusion, a class that combines elements of chair exercises to improve strength, flexibility, balance and cardiovascular fitness is scheduled at the Community Hall on Tuesdays from 9-10 a.m. until the end of June.
