The 40th Annual Kelowna Chamber Charity Golf Classic was held at the Harvest Golf Club on May 28, 2025.

Golf clubs weren’t the only things making an impact at the Kelowna Chamber’s 40th Annual Golf Tournament — the sold-out event raised thousands for local causes, driving home over $3,900 in support for the YMCA and UBC Okanagan (UBCO).

With 156 golfers, 30 sponsors, and a crowd of enthusiastic supporters, the May 28 event at Harvest Golf Club was a celebration of community, business, and giving back.

“We had a warm, but productive business and fun day at the Harvest,” said Derek Gratz, president and chair of the Kelowna Chamber. “Celebrating our 40th annual tournament made it an extra special occasion, and the networking and the golf combined as we helped offer support not only for business, but for the YMCA and UBCO.”

The tournament raised over $2,530 for the YMCA and $1,400 for UBCO’s “Beat the Heat” initiative.

Canco Petroleum, this year’s presenting sponsor, gave golfers a chance to win two Harley Davidson motorcycles with a hole-in-one  at holes 1 and 11.

“We’ve been part of the tournament in previous years, but this is our first year as presenting sponsor,” said Satvir Panesar, CFO of Canco. “We couldn’t be more pleased at the sold-out turnout.”
