JD Sports is set to open at Abbotsford's Sevenoaks Shopping Centre this winter.
The sports fashion retailer is advertising for job openings online for a new store at the Abbotsford mall.

The England-based company was established in 1981 and now has more than 4,500 stores in 36 countries across the globe. JD Sports has a number of sponsorship deals with Premier League soccer teams and other sports clubs around the world.
The company, which is publicly traded on the London Stock Exchange, listed 51,927 employees worldwide as of 2023.
JD Sports opened its first store in Canada at Toronto's Fairview Mall on Nov. 20, 2021. The store can also be found at Langley's Willowbrook Shopping Centre, Surrey's Guildford Town Centre and Tsawwassen Mills.
The brand also owns subsidiary retailers Finish Line (United States) and Livestock (Canada).
Other sports fashion retailers currently found at Sevenoaks include: Foot Locker, Horizon Sports, Lids and Sport Chek.
An exact location and opening date for the store has not yet been confirmed, but the advertisement states it will open in the winter.
