The Township of Spallumcheen is letting motorists know that Mountain View Road will be closed Monday, May 5, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The closure is necessary for the replacement of aging infrastructure in the area prior to a road repaving project that's taking place later this year as part of the township's capital roads program.
Signage and flagging personnel will be on site, and drivers are asked to drive safely in the area.
Mountain View Road will be open to local traffic only. Emergency vehicles will also have access if required.
