Federal all-candidates meeting announced for Salmon Arm

The Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce is hosting a federal all-candidates forum on April 15, 2025.

Kamloops-Shuswap-Central Rockies riding residents will have an opportunity to hear from their federal election candidates this month in Salmon Arm. 

The Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce is hosting an all-candidates forum at Song Sparrow Hall on Tuesday, April 15.

Questions for the candidates, including Mel Arnold (Conservative), Michael Henry (People's Party), Phaedra Idzan (NDP), Owen Madden (Green) and Kennith Robertson (Liberal), must be submitted by email to admin@sachamber.bc.ca by Friday, April 11. All submissions will remain anonymous.

No questions will be taken from the floor. 

The forum will begin at 6:30 p.m. and run to 8:30. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and seating is limited to 180 and will be first come, first serve. 

The chamber noted any attendees causing a disruption will be asked to leave. 

"To ensure a fair and constructive discussion, disruptions, heckling, or comments from the audience will not be permitted," announced the chamber, adding security will be on-site, and anyone causing a disturbance will be asked to leave immediately.

"As a non-partisan organization, the Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce does not endorse political parties or candidates. Our role is to facilitate a fair and informative event that helps our community make informed decisions."
