District of Clearwater issues low water pressure advisory due to repair

The District of Clearwater has issued an advisory of low water pressure in the area of Lodge Drive in Clearwater as water repairs are underway on Oct. 16.

The District of Clearwater has issued a public works advisory for low water pressure.

Public works crews are in the process of repairing a leaking water service on Lodge Drive on Oct. 16 and anticipate there will be low pressure for any residents serviced off the lodge drive main. Crews are hoping to have the repairs completed by the end of the day.

The District of Clearwater requests that during this period of low water pressure, residents limit the usage of appliances and fixtures that rely heavily on water, such as dishwashers, washing machines and sprinklers.

The district urges residents to please be patient as water pressure may fluctuate and occasionally be lower than usual. If possible, residents might consider rescheduling activities requiring significant water usage to a later time.

If residents experience a complete loss of water, please contact our emergency services department immediately. During business hours: 250-674-2257 or After-Hours-Emergency-Phone: 250-674-3015

The DOC public works crews are working to resolve this issue and restore regular water pressure as quickly as possible.

Further updates will be provided on the progress of the repair and estimated time for full-service restoration.

“If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us via our customer service hotline or email. Your cooperation and understanding during this time are greatly appreciated," stated Mayor Merlin Blackwell in Facebook post.
