Local residents will be happy to learn the Clearwater Station Bridge has reopened to vehicle traffic.
"The bridge is fully operational and accessible to both vehicles and pedestrians as of today," noted the District of Clearwater in a news release Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Thanking everyone for their patience, the district said the repairs were necessary to ensure the long-term safety and stability of the bridge.
"We are pleased that the work was completed on schedule."
While the Little Fort Ferry and pedestrian access will continue as usual, the DOC said it was also thankful to Yellowhead Community Services for providing additional transit during the bridge closure.
Work on the bridge began Oct. 8 and was originally anticipated to go until Oct. 22.
