Sign up for Voyent Alert! – a free mobile app, also accessible through a web browser, that provides real-time emergency alerts based on your chosen locations.
Then, sign up for City News, an email subscription that informs you about City of Castlegar-related updates.
“We want to make sure residents have the information they need when they need it most,” said Mayor Maria McFaddin. “Whether it’s about public safety or city decisions, these tools keep people informed and supported.”

Voyent Alert! ensures you never miss urgent public safety notifications such as wildfire evacuations, boil water advisories, or extreme weather events.

• Ability to add multiple location pins – for places like home, work, school, or anywhere else that matters to you, in Castlegar or beyond

Already Subscribed?
If you're already receiving Voyent Alert! emergency notifications, you do not need to register again. However, the city recommends reviewing your settings to ensure you're getting the most from the platform.
