Whether you’re looking for a family restaurant setting or a spacious pub, steak and seafood or burgers and fries, the Old Caboose Restaurant and Pub has it all.
“The fish and chips is what sets us apart. Since we’ve opened this business it’s gotten popular,” said owner Mohammad Chaudhary.
“People come by, they taste it and they keep coming.”
The Old Caboose Restaurant was originally constructed from an old railway caboose that was local to the area and with modern upgrades, the restaurant now has a light and airy atmosphere.
The location offers several eating experiences with outdoor dining, caboose car dining that’s well-lit with natural light and a fully licensed pub onsite.

It also caters to tour buses with customized menus for bus groups, room inside for large groups of people, and all menu items are ready for take-out with delivery available through local taxi service.
The Old Caboose offers a full breakfast menu with buttermilk hotcakes, omelets, Belgian waffles and regular favourites of bacon, ham or sausage with eggs and hashbrowns.
For later in the day it has a healthy list of sandwiches, hot light entrees and a variety of burgers as well as pizzas, pasta and selections of wine, beer and spirits.
“Everyone is welcome—we also have milkshakes, pop, cappuccinos and the kids menu is very popular,” said Chaudhary.
“We have reasonable prices, lots of seating and the atmosphere is nice and airy.”
