The Abbotsford Canucks watch parties are continuing in the month of June.
The AHL club announced that The Canadian Brewhouse and Grill at Highstreet Shopping Centre will once again host official watch parties this week, as the Canucks head to the Lone Star State to battle the Texas Stars in the Western Conference Finals.
Watch parties are scheduled for Monday's (June 2) game three and Wednesday's (June 4) game four. Both games have an opening face-off time of 5 p.m. Abbotsford time. It's likely that the establishment would also host a game five watch party, but that game may not be necessary.
The series shifts to Texas, but the parties are still bigger in Abbotsford! 🎉

Previous watch parties have included ticket and merchandise giveaways, a live DJ and an in-game host for the festivities.
The Canadian Brewhouse and Grill is located at 3122 Mt. Lehman Rd. on the west side of Highstreet. The establishment opened its doors in 2016 and is a two-level unit with approximately 180 seats and a roof-top patio. The Abbotsford location was the second B.C. location when it opened. The Canadian Brewhouse and Grill brand entered the market with a location in Edmonton in 2002 and has expanded in the decades that followed.
Fans can also watch the games on the FloHockey app, but that comes with a monthly or annual fee. Games will also be airing for radio listeners on Sportsnet 650.
Abbotsford has a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series after defeating Texas 3-2 in game one on Thursday (May 29) and then blanking the Stars 1-0 in game two on Saturday (May 31). Game five, if necessary, is also in Texas at 5 p.m. on Friday (June 6). The series would move back to the Abbotsford Centre for games six (June 8 at 6 p.m.) and seven (June 9 at 7 p.m.), if needed.
The Canucks eliminated the Tucson Roadrunners in three games in round one, then took out the Firebirds 3-1 in the Pacific Division semifinal and bounced the Colorado Eagles 3-2. Texas swept the Grand Rapids Griffins and then defeated the Milwaukee Admirals 3-2.
The series marks the first time ever that Abbotsford and Texas have played each other.
