Surrey firefighters battled a blaze on the Langley Bypass June 20.

A fire broke out at a Super Save Group facility at 19395 Langley Bypass. The address is the same as the Super Save Group's head office and is next door to a Super Save gas station.

The fire began at about 8:30 a.m. Surrey fire crews attended as the address is within the City of Surrey.

Marc Fournier, battalion chief, told the Cloverdale Reporter it was a small blaze that broke out in a paint booth.

He said the booth was only 20 x 40 feet in size.

"There were no injuries," Fournier noted. "We had 16 firefighters on the scene and it was put out rather quickly."
