Fans of rock legend Tina Turner will have a chance to experience her iconic music live on stage when 'Simply the Best' hits the Bailey Theatre stage in Trail on Wednesday, June 11.
The tribute show, part of a national tour running from May to July 2025, brings Turner’s high-voltage energy and powerhouse vocals back to life.
South African performer Caroline Borole, known for her appearance on South African Idols, leads the production, delivering a performance that captures Turner’s unmistakable voice and stage presence.
Backed by an international band, full brass section, backup singers, and dancers, Borole takes audiences on a musical journey through Turner’s greatest hits from the '60s through the '90s, including favourites like (Simply) The Best, What’s Love Got To Do With It, Proud Mary, and Private Dancer.
“This is not just a concert, it’s a full-scale production that celebrates the unstoppable spirit and timeless music of one of the greatest performers in music history, say the show’s producers, the Showtime team also behind Queen: It’s a Kinda Magic.
Tickets for the Trail show are available at the box office weekdays from noon to 4 p.m., by phone, or online at trail-arts.com.
