Trail-Rossland Burger Month is back, and it’s taking the humble burger well beyond the classic all-beef patty and slice of cheese on a Wonder bun.
The second annual event kicks off today (June 5) and runs through to June 30.
Over the next 25 days, eight local eateries will compete in a sizzling showdown to see who can craft the best burger in town.
Specialty burgers are $17 each, plus tax.
While additional purchases are not required, diners are encouraged to round out their meal with a side order and drink while savouring these burger masterpieces.
Each restaurant will feature a voting box, and burger fans can also cast their votes online at trailtimes.ca/contest and rosslandnews.com/contest.
Those who indulge and vote will be entered for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate from each participating restaurant.
Burger Month restaurants are:
Rossland: Donnie’s Bistro; Redstone Resort Clubhouse; The Flying Steam Shovel; The Rock Cut Pub; and The Velvet Restaurant
Trail: Birchbank Bistro; Tailout Brewing; and The Tunnel Pub.
