Vernon's Big Apprle Productions proudly brings back The Rocky Horror Show for a 10th anniversary run. The show will be performed Thursday to Saturday evenings, June 12-28, at the Prestige Hotel Vernon.

It's a jump to the left, and a step to the right.

And in a new, perfectly named venue called Skin and Sin.

Vernon's Big Apple Productions presents the return of The Rocky Horror Show June 12-28 at the Prestige Hotel Vernon's Skin and Sin Ballroom.

It is the 10-year reunion production of The Rocky Horror Show, a no-holds barred, full-throttle theatrical experience.

“We’ve never played it safe, and this year is no exception,” said Big Apple Productions' artistic director Melina Schein. “We’ve taken everything audiences love about Rocky Horror and turned it up to 11.”

Back on stage, slipping into his high heels, is Vernon's Beach Radio morning show co-host Brian Martin in the role of Frank-N-Furter.

“We’re back and this time in a brand-new venue," said Martin. "The Prestige Hotel Vernon is hosting us in their Skin and Sin ballroom, and we couldn’t ask for a cooler space to bring Rocky back to life."

The 2025 production also features live music, and Schein has put together a six-piece ensemble, the G-Strings Live Band.

“One thing that sets Big Apple Productions apart is the live band,” said Martin. “It’s not every day you get to perform with a rock band backing you. It’s an absolute rush and so fun for the audience.

Added Schein: “Whether you’re a die-hard devotee or a Rocky newbie, we guarantee you’ll leave feeling just a little bit dirty, but in the best possible way.”

Schein introduced The Rocky Horror Show to the Okanagan in 2014, where it quickly became a beloved fall staple. The production ran annually until 2018, when Schein shifted her focus to new and dynamic shows, including Beauty and the Beast, Chicago, Fiddler on the Roof, Monty Python’s SPAMALOT, and most recently, a sold-out run of Cabaret.

The Rocky Horror Show runs June 12-28.  Show times are Thursdays at 8 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, double features at 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. The show runs 90 minutes. There is no intermission, and 18+ is the recommended age.

Throwing of props is NOT permitted.

Tickets are $59.25 per person, available at Ticket Seller, www.ticketseller.ca or call 250-549-7469 (SHOW).
