The stage is open for opening acts when a two-time JUNO award-winning alternative indie artist comes to town.
Aysanabee (pronounced: Ace-in-abbey) is set to bring his sophomore album, Edge Of The Earth, to Vernon at The Towne Theatre this fall.
But local Indigenous artists have until Friday, June 20 to apply to be an opener for the show. Applications can be made online at aysanabee.com/joinonstage.
Aysanabee is stopping in Vernon Nov. 19 as part of The Way We're Born tour.
His Now and Then 2025 winter tour through Eastern Canada was a thrilling success, and he can't wait to see who'll share the stage with him this fall.
“Sharing the stage with Indigenous artists on my first-ever headlining tour has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Each night, I’ve felt inspired, humbled, and immensely grateful for the new friends I’ve made," said Aysanabee. "I’m beyond excited to continue uplifting these incredible talents on The Way We’re Born Tour.”
The new album will feature Without You, The Way We’re Born (which is currently climbing the CBC Music Top 20 charts), and Edge of the Earth.
