May 30, 2025 • The Valley Symphony presents Rising Piano Stars on Friday, May 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre. The night features the vibrant talent of young, gifted pianists from Chilliwack and beyond, plus a performance from special guest, Ukrainian pianist Oleksandr Luchkov, and vocal ensemble Pacific Voices. May 30, 2025 • The Sardis Library presents 'Family Puzzle Contest' on Friday, May 30 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Get a group of four together to compete in the competition. Each team gets a 500-piece puzzle and has two hours to complete it. First to finish wins bragging rights and a small prize. Register your group of four people to compete against other groups. Groups can be comprised of kids aged eight and older, teens and adults. Children under 13 must be in same group as caregiver. Online registration is required. Please have one person sign up for the team of four.
May 30, 2025 • Chillith Fair returns for an evening of all-female performances at the Vineyard Centre on May 30 at 7 p.m. This year's lineup includes Lori Paul, The Valley Babes, Pretty Good Together, and The Piper Twins. May 31 to June 6, 2025 • GoByBike Week, organized by Cycle Chilliwack, runs Saturday, May 31 to Friday, June 6 with numerous free, pedal-powered activities happening throughout the week. The event showcases new and improved designated bike routes in Chilliwack. It's free to register and participants have a chance to win prizes. May 31, 2025 • The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 295 Chilliwack-Vedder is having an all-ages fundraising event on Saturday, May 31. The event, Western Party Country Night, includes live music by the Claim Jumpers, burgers and hot dogs, a chili cook-off, a beer garden, prizes, and a kids' zone with games, face painting and a bean bag toss. People are asked to bring their own lawn chair. Admission is $10, and chili-taster tickets are $2. It runs from noon to 6 p.m. behind the legion at 5661 Vedder Rd.
May 31, 2025 • The Chilliwack Library presents 'A Paranormal Investigation' on Saturday, May 31 from 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Join Cornerstone Supernatural for an evening delving into the world of the paranormal. Discover the fascinating results of their investigations at the Chilliwack Museum as they reveal their findings, explain their methods and equipment, and showcase clips from past investigations. The Chilliwack Museum staff will also share their role in the investigation and highlight the museum’s community offerings. No registration required. Open to ages 16 and older.
May 31, 2025 • It's 'Family Coding Fun' at the Chilliwack Library on Saturday, May 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Join others for a hands-on tech adventure for the whole family. June 2, 2025 • June 2 is the last chance to submit an OCPizza Party workbook and food receipt to the City of Chilliwack for reimbursement of up to $30. It's part of the city's Official Community Plan, Chilliwack 2025. Folks can order pizza from their favourite local shop and dive into discussions with friends, family, or co-workers using the city's self-guided discussion workbook. June 3 to Oct. 7, 2025 • Ready to shop local? Market at the Coliseum starts up again on Tuesday, June 3 and runs every Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. until Oct. 7. The market features local growers, artisans, food and music, and is located at the corner of Hodgins Avenue and Ashwell Road (in the parking lot of the Chilliwack Coliseum). June 3, 2025 • St. Thomas Anglican Church is hosting 'LGBTQ2SIA+ Coffee and Conversation', a panel discussion with people of faith in the LGBTQ+ community called The Helpers in my Life, based on Mr. Rogers’ quote, “Look for the helpers." June 4, 2025 • The Chilliwack Early Years Fair is Wednesday, June 4 at the Sardis Library from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is geared towards kids aged five and younger and includes family picnic food boxes, games, activities, face painting, live music, and early-years information booths. June 6, 2025 • The Anonymous Art Show returns to Chilliwack on June 6 at Cornerstone Custom Picture Framing and Gallery (9369 Mill St.) and other locations. Hosted by the Chilliwack Community Arts Council, it will showcase a collection of 150-plus pieces of artwork, each created by artists who remain anonymous until their piece is sold. The work will be on display from June 6 to June 15 with the "buying night" fundraiser event taking place from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, June 6 at Cornerstone. Tickets to the fundraiser are $20. June 7, 2025 • The 27th annual Gwynne Vaughan Park Plant Sale is Saturday, June 7 at the park on Hope River Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be more than 30 vendors selling plants and other items, plus there will be artisan booths, food, a silent auction, and live music. June 7, 2025 • Watson Elementary PAC is hosting a bike swap on June 7 from 10 a.m. to noon at the school (45305 Watson Rd.). Bike drop-off for donations or consigned is 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Bikes of all sizes, lights, child carriers and other accessories are welcome. Those who donate a bike will receive a $10 coupon towards a new bike at the sale. There will also be free air for tires, grease for chains and growth adjustments for bikes. June 7, 2025 • Local charity A Voice of Hope For Kenya (Hungry For Life International) is having a huge garage sale on Saturday, June 7 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. to raise money for widows and orphans in Kenya. It runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Westeringh’s barn (7350 Barrow Rd.). Items include: household goods, toys, gardening and other tools, sports equipment, furniture, etc. This is a country market-style garage sale with coffee, stroop waffles, cinnamon buns, hot dogs, chips and cold drinks sold throughout the day.
June 7, 2025 • The City of Chilliwack's spring Shred-A-Thon and Food Drive is Saturday, June 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Chilliwack Coliseum. June 8, 2025 • The Fraser Valley Classic Car Show is Sunday, June 8 at the UFV Chilliwack campus (corner of Caen Avenue and Dieppe Street). This fundraiser event will support the Chilliwack General Hospital via the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation. Those wanting to register their vehicle for the show, or for more information, can go to fvccs.ca. The show opens to the public at 10 a.m.
June 14, 2025 • The 24th annual Ryder Lake Ramble is back on Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This self-guided tour features an eclectic mix of 13 private properties that will be open to the public. June 14, 2025 • The Chilliwack Academy of Music presents benefit concert 'L’Amour de la Musique for the love of music' on Saturday, June 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre. The show will highlight the musical achievements of the academy, and will include a selection of French-inspired hors d’oeuvres by chef Elizabeth Grimaldi. This concert supports outreach musical education in the community and provides access to musical opportunities for children. June 20, 2025 • Ukrainian documentary 'Life to the Limit' will be screened at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre on Friday, June 20. There will also be a Ukrainian art exhibition on display that night. The film is about the lives of two Kyiv filmmakers who left their Oscar-nominated film to volunteer on Ukraine’s eastern front. Using their own footage and stories, the film shows the human cost of war and the strength that rises from tragedy. July 5, 2025 • The all-ages Controlled Chaos Music Festival is Saturday, July 5 at the Chilliwack Coliseum starting at 2 p.m. Bands include: Big Duke Sorrow, The Bobby's, Cows Go Moo, Whitey, Tayos, The Unbranded, Strawberry Blondes and The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets. July 7 to Aug. 22, 2025 • Learn to Sail on Cultus Lake this summer with the Cultus Lake Sailing Club. Children, youth and adult programs available from July 7 to Aug. 22. The courses are a combination of dry land instruction and water-based training and cover the principles of sailing as well as basic water safety and righting of capsized boats. Aug. 15 and 16, 2025 • Downtown Chilliwack will turn into a street party when the annual Chilliwack Mural Festival returns to Mill Street and District 1881 on Aug. 15 and 16. NOW to June 21, 2025 • The Chilliwack Visual Artists Association presents exhibition Modern Mythology, a solo show by Kayla Neufeld Gowans of Agassiz, at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre from May 21 to June 21. Opening reception is set for Saturday, May 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
NOW to June 2025 • The Chilliwack Rhythm Reelers, a non-profit modern social square dance group, is starting beginner classes on Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. at Atchelitz Hall (6542 Lickman Rd.). Classes take place every Friday from September 2024 to June 2025. The lessons are filled with fun, fitness and friendly people. Having a partner is not necessary. The group is made up of a diverse age range of dancers. Teens are welcome, but they must be accompanied by an adult.
NOW to August, 2025 • The Chilliwack Crusaders Rugby Club is launching a free U18 youth program for boys and girls. It is open to teens aged 15 to 17 and it runs every Wednesday evening at Sardis Secondary School from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. starting on May 21 and throughout the summer. There is no cost to join. NOW to Aug. 31, 2025 • Sts'ailes carver Lek'hoosh Arnie Leon has his work on display in The Mystical Eagle Carving Exhibit in the lobby of the Chilliwack Cultural Centre (9201 Courbold St.). The show will feature his wood carvings as well as Noelani Leon's painting and drawings, totalling 45 pieces on display. The exhibit goes until Aug. 31.
NOW to October, 2025 • The Downtown Chilliwack Community Market returns to Chilliwack on Saturday, May 24. This year the market will be at a new location – Central Community Park – and will run every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until October.

Every Friday evening • Chilliwack Grapplers Wrestling, along with Chilliwack Community Services, is offering free drop-in wrestling for youth every Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Chilliwack Landing Sports Centre on the second floor (45530 Spadina Ave.). The Chilliwack Chess Club meets twice a week where chess aficionados can connect, learn, and engage in friendly matches. It is open to everyone from beginners to grand masters. First Saturday of each month • Very Very Improv Theatre, a professional company based in the Fraser Valley, has monthly performances at CoWork Chilliwack. Scott Campbell is leading a company of talented improvisers from across the Lower Mainland including Chilliwack-based comedian Cliff Prang. Every Tuesday night • Corky’s Irish Pub wants you to come be a rock star as they host karaoke every Tuesday night.

The Mount Cheam Lions hosts a spaghetti dinner on the last Friday of every month at the Lions Club (45580 Spadina Ave.). The cost is $10 and includes spaghetti, garlic toast, tea or coffee, and dessert. It goes from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
