École Glenrosa Elementary is hosting a 50th anniversary celebration on Thursday, June 5.

A West Kelowna elementary school is preparing for a half-century celebration.

On Thursday, June 5, École Glenrosa Elementary is hosting a festival to celebrate its 50th year.

“École Glenrosa Elementary has been a cornerstone of this community for 50 years," school principal Stephanie Read. "We’re thrilled to bring everyone together – past and present – to mark this special occasion in a fun and memorable way."

All current students and staff as well as alumni from the last 50 years are invited to attend. 

Taking place at the school from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the fun will include a bouncy castle, obstacle course, foam party (6 p.m.), 50/50, silent auction, raffle prizes, food trucks, games, and more.

Admission is free. The school is located at ​3430 Webber Road.
