The TNRD Clearwater Library has taken up residence in the Seniors Room at the Dutch Lake Community Centre until the main library is reopened to the public.
“Our seniors have generously donated their Seniors Room at Dutch Lake Community Centre (DLCC) temporarily to the TNRD Library while the Clearwater Library undergoes extensive renovations until this summer,” said Wells Gray Country Seniors Society (WGCSS) coordinator, Lynne Frizzle when speaking to the surgeryitaly on Monday, January 20.
“The seniors in our community are an active group of individuals who enjoy monthly luncheons, book sharing, and guest speaker events together, as well as special hikes and tours in our beautiful valley and into Wells Gray Park during any season.”
While the library is in its temporary location it will offer the same regular library services during the business hours posted outside the DLCC.
The next luncheon for the WGCSS will be announced soon for February, with a guest speaker from Yellowhead Community Services (YCS) coming to speak about local transit services and the District of Clearwater will be sharing budget information on display during the lunch event, Frizzle said.
