Hello, North Thompson Valley residents. It’s that time of year again as we go into the fifth annual Arts, Health and Wellness Expo. Wow five years, and going strong.
This is a great opportunity for the community to stop by and check out all the services from the area. Plus you could win one of the fantastic door prizes, just for stopping by.
The Expo will be held Saturday, Feb. 5, in the Clearwater Secondary School gym, 10 - 4. Admission will be by donation.
The benefits of the Expo are to provide and create community health and wellness partnerships, as well as lifestyle choices and awareness for our community members of all ages.
The Expo will showcase all the services and service providers, small home based business, and local community organizations. There will be information booths, a place to share information and network with others. If you are a non-profit group and wishing to get your organization’s name out there, to boost your memberships, and hand out information about your group, club or society - this might be just the chance you have been waiting for. We are all about community participation and involvement.
Set up for your booths are the Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Please no earlier as we need time to have the gym ready for you. To make this event a success, your job will be to tell all your family and friends. Everyone is welcome.
Deadline for registration is Jan. 31, 2011.
You can pick up your info pack and registration from the North Thompson Aboriginal Sharing Centre or Vera’s Video. Drop off completed registration along with your payment at the same as pick up location, or you can mail it to CFES (Clearwater Festival and Events Society) at Box 1823, RR#1, Clearwater, B.C. V0E1N0
