Tim Hortons smile cookies deliver real smiles to local Humane Society

For 25 years now Tim Hortons in Canada has been supporting local charities with over $90 million raised since the program started.

Local Tim Hortons owner, Laura Olivier, told Black Press about the 2023 event that took place at the Clearwater location Nov. 13 through 19.

“I am proud to say we raised a total of $1307.64 this year. Fifty percent raised went to a charity of the owners’ choice, in their own community and the other half raised went to the Tim Hortons Children Foundation Camps.”

The Clearwater Tim Hortons chose the Clearwater Humane Society as the recipient this year, presenting the organization with a cheque in the amount of $653.82.

“This donations is so very much appreciated and will truly assist us in the rescue work we do in the North Thompson,” said executive director for the Humane Society, Maddy Beka. “Thankyou so much to everyone who bought a smile cookie this year at our local Tim Horton’
