Thrift store gives to hospital

Dr. Helmcken Memorial gets $7,000 from Clearwater Curiousity Shoppe

Volunteers from the Clearwater Curiousity Shoppe present a $7,000 cheque to Dr. John Soles recently. Pictured are (l-r) Louise Richardson, Linda Westendorp, Heidi Funk, Steph Briscoe, Soles and Trudy Abday. The money was used to purchase an ultrasound machine for Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital, improving diagnostics avaialble without going to Kamloops. The thrift store is located at 742 Clearwater Village Road (next to the food bank).
